When I’m not writing, you can find me taking my french bulldog to Madison Square Park or scouring the internet for the newest, possibly haunted, speakeasy in Manhattan (ask me for some recommendations).
Writing mini books for friends + family
I took one page out of the 223 notes on my iPhone and turned it into a book featuring all the local restaurants, coffee shops, happy hour places, and dessert bars in a hidden gem called Wynwood in Miami. It's perfect for friends + family who want to visit, and I don't have to send long texts telling them what to do.
Capturing video + photos
If I had to choose one thing I'm most proud of working on during the initial lockdown in 2020, I would say my willingness to commit to learning how to use my Sony A7iii and not shoot on "Auto" mode.
As someone who is always looking for a challenge, I took initiative and joined a few online classes to expand my knowledge on both shooting video and portrait photography. I finally understood what aperture meant and learned how to play with different lighting techniques, as well as learning how to use Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Lightroom.
